Nissan to Source Components from Renault-Geely Venture in Alliance Restructure
Nissan Motor Co. is set to become a significant customer for Renault SA's combustion-engine venture, signaling a collaborative effort to revamp their strained alliance and advance in the electric vehicle (EV) transition. As part of the reshaping, Nissan will receive gearboxes, engines, and half a million parts annually from Renault's Horse combustion-engine unit, established with China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co.
